What we collect and why.
Your information is used only for processing your order, communicating about your project, and improving the website. Your information stays private and is never sold.
- Information you provide. Name, phone number, email address, delivery address, and any project details you submit through the contact form, by phone, or by email. This information is used only to fulfill your sod delivery, installation, or service request.
- SMS communications and TCPA consent. If you check the SMS consent box on a contact form, you agree to receive text messages from Covington Sod about your specific request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. SMS consent is never required to obtain quotes or services. Your phone number is never shared with third parties for marketing.
- Cookies and analytics. The website uses cookies and analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to track aggregate visitor patterns and improve content. These tools collect anonymous data such as page views, browser type, and referral source. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
- How we use your information. Communicating about your project, scheduling delivery or installation, processing payment, sending order updates, and improving our services. Information from the contact form is reviewed by Covington Sod staff only.
- Third-party sharing. Your information is never sold to third parties. Limited sharing happens only with service providers who help us operate the business, such as our payment processor, our SMS platform (when you opt in), and our email service. These providers handle your information under their own privacy practices.
- Your rights. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time. Email info@covingtonsod.org or call 985-249-2409 to submit a privacy request.
- Children's privacy. The Covington Sod website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
- Changes to this policy. Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after a change means acceptance of the updated policy.
